December 1st: Embracing something new...

Embracing the moment.

Until recently, I've been holding off on submissions. I've been revising three of my novels and sent my first queries to agents I met at the NC convention. I have also submitted it to a few new agents. Since it often takes a few months to hear back, if you hear anything at all (that's a topic for another blog), I decided to try my hand at some adult short stories. I've written a few and plan to submit them for publication in both online and printed magazines that seem like a good fit. This is how new writers establish a presence and publishing track record, so fingers crossed, it will happen!
